Newbie...to Mini
 

Greetings!


Joined the Mini Cooper family last Tuesday. Picked up my 2013 2-door HT, 6mt & 19k on the clock. Traded in a 2004 BMW X5 4.8is SAV for this mini and like it LOTS! Going from a 400hp V8 to an 120hp I-4 is quite the swing but, much better gas mileage and fuel cost is what I needed.


Staying with the BMW family is comforting as they share some common "creature comforts" between the two brands and I know BMW's. So, acclimating to the mini wasn't as bad as I or the wife pictured. Other than being lower to the ground and it's not terrible at all and I'm very happy with my ride!


Still has 2 more years of CPO, plus I got another 2 years of basic aftermarket coverage, up to 100k miles.


Hope to get as many miles out of this as I did the X5....246k miles. Got my money out of the X5 for sure!
