I am pulling my hair out. Since December I have had non stop power steering pump issues on a 2005 R52

I replaced what I thought was a faulty pump and the steering worked for a couple of months, then stopped, as the pump that was fitted was reconditioned I assumed it was the pump that had failed. Replaced with another recon pump. After two days the pump continued to run and drained the battery. Installed another pump. This ran for 24 hours, now no power steering again. I am now starting to think this is an electrical problem where the pump before this one was always running and this pump is not getting any power. I cant be so unlucky that I have had three failed pumps.

Any advice would be more than welcome

 

I'm having the same problem. I'm just gonna pull the power steering out. A delete kit costs $50. I'm hoping to find some specs so I can 3d print it myself.
