r52 Auto Trans in S - WHICH ONE??
 

New to the forum, but this is a question I cannot seem to have answered with much certainty.

Does a 2006 Mini Cooper S "convertible (r52)" come with a 5 speed CVT or a Japanese traditional 6 speed automatic? The latter being non CVT.

To add to the confusion, is there such a thing as a 6 speed CVT transmission for this car?

I am thinking of buying this car, but I do not want the CVT for various reasons, but mostly for its reliability concerns.
