RE: Service manual

Thanks
I also got the cd and it is not really what I thought I was getting. I thought it was going to be a pdf file, I have those for my motorcycles but the one I got has a thing called TIS and guess the problem is that I am just not good yet at using it. when I try and find info like how to remove the radio I spend a ton of time and never really come up with the info I need.
I was looking into getting an adapter so that I could use my Ipod and then decided to just order a new radio from Crutchfield that does the ipod. I have a couple of cd's that have mp3 files and the stock radio will play them but not very well. and as time gone on it starts skipping and then will just eject the cd. so I decided to just go for a new radio that I hope will do a better job at playing mp3's on cd and will also let me use my ipod.
so I want to find the correct way to remove the stock radio. Crutchfield says they will send info on how to remove old radio and install new one, but I bet the info they send will be for all cars not really for my car.
I think I found a place on the web that talks about removing the radio so I think I will be ok, but in the end I think a repair manual would be good to have
we just got the car and now I am pretty excited to do some things to it. ordered wheels local yesterday and have it set to go to a local shop for stripes so things are moving along good. now if I just had more $$$ and I still want to do the driving lights asap.
a new toy is fun I guess
thanks for the site and all the good info that is here

RE: Service manual

Mine came in Pdf so it was easily printed ...
Crutchfield does normally give vehicle specific info and mostly correct ...

I have not seen my seller back on , I'm wondering if he got popped for copywright infringement since they are "factory" manuals

Does anyone know where to get a cheap actual manual, like a Bentley manual somewhere? I want to change my engine and trans oil for starters and the owners manual is useless, it doesn't even tell you how much oil the car takes!

There is no such thing as a cheap bentley manual ...

I found one for $89 on ebay, but they sure are expensive elsewhere over $200. I don't remember paying near that much for my BMW Bentley manual...
