Steering Wheel Bay thing?

Steering Wheel Bay thing?
My car, a 2006 Mini Cooper that's in otherwise good condition is making a CRAZY noise when it's cold - front right wheel bay is making this creaking noise when I turn the steering wheel. Any ideas?
