2007 Mini Cooper not showing cruise distance
I just got a 2007 Mini Cooper as my first car, and it's great. Only it doesn't show the cruise distance / fuel consumption / average speed. When I change the display there are only three options: blank, current speed and 'set/info'. I bought it used - without manual, but in a manual for 2007 Mini Cooper I found on the Internet it says there should also be options such as cruising range, fuel consumption, etc. There are astreisks all over the manual (probably for different versions), so maybe mine doesn't have these options, but it seems weird to me as every car I've ever driven or rode (even older and 'worse' ones) showed cruising distance and fuel consumption, but few actually show current speed. Do you have any idea why I can't see any of that info?
Also, I have phone and voice assistant controls on the steering wheel, but I only have an AUX input in the car. I figured it should still work with those controls (just as controls on my headphones can answer a call or invoke Siri). Unfortunately the buttons do nothing. Is there a way to make them work with AUX connection?
