Hi all!

Brought my first mini the other day - a 2007 Mini Cooper S - after talking to my insurance company it transpires that it’s a Mini Cooper S GP, which is more expensive to insure than an S without the GP in its title - I can’t find any reference to a GP model on the internet except for a Works, but it’s definitely not a works.

Would anyone be able to shed any light?
