2007 Mini Speaker After Market Upgrade

2007 Mini Cooper with standard 6 spk & factory radio. Anyone know what exactly size for all 6 speaker? Rear speaker seem like 6x9 ? I try to remove rear speaker plastic grill but it too hard to come off so I'm not sure are there any screw from inside panel.

to change speaker in front (x4) seem much more work than rear. I think the whole door panel have to be remove?

Can anyone recomment good compact powered subwoofer?

Usually Cruthfield.com has all these answer but until now almost 2008 they still haven't done research for new 2007

Thanks

Yea, sorry im not actually answering this question, but at least people will know there is an interest and maybe they will help us out with this one.

I was thinking of getting the Hi-fi sound system in my mini, but i dont know if i could get a better system for equal or less money and install it myself. Does anyone know of a system that would be significantly better than the mini one and be under 800. I know the mini one doesnt cost that much, or at least it doesnt on the miniusa website, but i wouldnt mind spending more if it was going to be significantly better.

I just install Compact powered subwoofer (Kenwood KSC-SW1) under passenger seat and I replace 6x9 in the back with Sony 3 way Speaker (Sony GT6935A) Trebel has been huge improve with Rich Solid Bass better than Hi-Fi Package from factory for less than $400 with installation fee!

Kenwood KSC-SW1 $250 / Sony GT6935A $80
