2008 Cooper s upgrade advice!!

Sup ladies and gents! I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S that i have fallen totally in love with. I used to own a Nissam Maxima late model and i traded it in for a Coop at Carmax because my wife wanted one. I was kinda pissed about it but it grew on me and now i like it more than she does!!

I just ordered EBC Red Stuff brake pads all around and im in the mood to upgrade stuff! I was wondering if anyone had any experience with blow off valves, exhaust, and intake? That is all i want to do to it but i want to do it right. The best way to do that is to learn from others mistakes. Im worried about these mods triggering certain sensors because that just annoys me. I want to upgrade these things but i dont want any lights to light up in the dash. Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! Oh, and what are some good rim brands that look awesome?! Im new to this, please help. LOL

Hello, For the mods you listed I would skip the Blow of Valve as this will lead to check engine lights, the OEM one will work great for most. The exhaust is a great idea if you just do a catback exhaust, if you do a full turbo back exhaust you will get check engine lights. An intake will be a great mod that you should have no problems with.

The one mod you left off your list that I've seen make a huge difference is an upgraded intercooler. The OEM intercooler is very small and not very efficient.
