2008 n12 won't idle, no codes
 

Well some back story. Bought a mini cooper that had a misfire..long story short it had 2 bent valves. Pulled the drivetrain, installed new timing set, new head, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate..all kinds of stuff.
I replaced the valvetronic actuator on the head, and did the relearn process on my scan tool. The car starts immediately, no misfires and is nice and smooth. It runs for about 4 seconds and then as it idles down, the car shuts off. If I feather the throttle, I can keep it running for a few seconds but then it just cuts off. It will not idle on its own. No codes are present.

Any guidance on this situation? I'm very close to a maiden voyage with this ol girl
