2009, 15,327 miles - lost all it's oil last night!
 

Has anyone had this problem; my 09 Cooper S apparently has been dripping small amounts of oil ( I found evidence in my parking space) and last night the oil light came on, and the engine started to tick. Pulled over and shut it down. Oil everywhere. Mostly on passenger side, it's on the engine, firewall, rh front tire, all down the undercarriage, on the exhaust, it came out and blew down the passenger side from the front wheel well. First service was 5 weeks ago, 1000kilometers. Could it possibly be from the filter 5 weeks later?

did you get the issue resolved... Same thing happened to mine, less than a month after oil change.
They said that it has to do with the time chain, but Im afraid I may have caused damage to engine while running it without oil, even if it was only 5 blocks...:mad:
