Thinking of ordering a set of black wheels along with tire from tirerack.com. Any recommendations? My Mini Cooper S is pepper white with white fenders via the aerodynamic body work option. Too much brake dust on alloy/silver wheels.

 

I am about to buy the RACING MR117 with the Kumho Ecsta tires. they are both on sale. with the TPMS, mount, balance, tax and shipping they are $1,176 plus I get a prepaid Visa card for $50.

They are nice looking and relatively lightweight wheels at 18lbs each.

My car is red with red arches and black roof and mirrors. These wheels have a red stripe that may or may not look good on your white car.

One reason I am leaning to the black rim w/ red stripe is the JCW car I saw, but I first got the inspiration from my wife's Ducati 1098 with the red wheel stripe on a black wheel.

Ever see white the 848 with red wheels....

 

Thanks for the recommendation. Actually the redstripe on my car may look very good as I have a thin red stripe flanking my rally stripes and there is a Ducati in stainless steel on the back of the car. I have a 1098S. She has been a good girl and is still beautiful now at 5.5 years old.

 

I went with the Motegi MR125 and Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position (all season) package.

 

Just removed a set of stock black mini wheels on my 2009 convertible. Replaced with Chrome - my mini is gold with brown top. Black wheels just did not look right. Am selling for $920. you pay shipping (about $60).
Only 12,535 miles on them; however, one has small 3" scuff mark. Otherwise, showroom condition. Comes with key lock for protection which your knock offs will not.

 

If you haven't done anything about wheels yet I have the stock wheels from my Bayswater edition I'll sell. How's $600 plus shipping sound?
