Clicking/Ticking with low speed tight turns
Hi all,
I have a 2009 Cooper S with about 50K miles. In the past few months I've noticed a repetitive Clicking/Ticking with low speed turns, like in a parking garage or parking lot. I took my car to the dealer and they said they couldn't find a problem, and that it could just be my power steering pump clicking with the wheel turned to end range. They also said my front lower control arm bushing rubber was cracking, but didn't seemed concerned. Ultimately, I am concerned there might be a bigger problem...What do you guys think?! |
possibly sign of shaft bearing ? my Audi did this when it turned, i replaced the "axle" on the front and it solved it, but when i took it apart is when it was apparent, the boot had cracked and let all the grease sling out, might also consider checking motor mounts to see if they are still strong and not all weak and tore up
