cold air intake help....
Hi new to the forum. Bought my first Mini last year...a Mini Cooper S 2007. Now I am ready to do some minor eng. mods.In my search for a good cold air intake(last year), I found one that was different from all the ones I have seen.K&N, Injin...etc. The one I read on was a 2 component system. It had an air diverter shroud under the hood that uses the scoop and direct the air to and aluminum box which replace the OEM one. I should have bought it then....because now I can not find it.When I ask some of the performance companies they all think the diverter is for the intercooler but, it is not.Has anyone seen or know where to get that type of cold air intake. It's more like a "ram air intake"Thank you
