Crankshaft sprocket to hub fitment
Hello everybody,
I recently had some timing chain issues which resulted in bent valves and what not....
I ordered the required parts and a new cranshaft pulley hub and crankshaft sprocket from ECS. I'm not sure if they are fitting together right. I noticed the old hub slid right out of the sprocket no problem. But as I'm holding the new peices in my hands. The sprocket doesnt slide over the hub with ease. It seems like it has to be press fitted in which seems kind of odd. Both these peices are brand new.
I can't afford to replace my valves, timing chain, head gasket ect...again so any input on this would be much appreciated.
Heres a visual of the parts im referring to.
