I drive an 07 "S" with 61K miles. Recently got a "check engine" light. The car is exhibiting choppy acceleration. When the codes were downloaded it reffered to the A/D converter. Does this mean Analogue to Digital, and if so could that explain the acceleration anomally?

 

The mini uses a fly by wire throttle (all electronics) the A/d convertor changes pedal depression to "signal" to the engine
