DSC v sASC
 
My new 07 S came with DSC. Reading manual they seem to share similar characteristics. Why would one have both. Thx

ASC only reduces throttle input if the wheels spin, DSC is ASC but it will also apply brakes where appropriate if it senses a sideways slide. If you ask me, ASC is almost worthless where DSC is a really really handy thing for everyday driving. I've only ever been in a situation where DSC did anything once but it pretty much saved me from making friends with a ditch.
