early 2010 r56 trying to fit later 2010 black trim lights....
 

Hey guys and gals! hope maybe someone can help here.

I Bought a 2010 r56 S (birthed 12-23-09) and wanted to do some upgrades, so I went online and found these

they are nice and all but apparently they were built for the JCW 2010 for the r56 any time on or after 8-2010... it also use to say something about it being a part of the "aero kit package"

So my question is what's the difference? is it just a wire? fuse? I took it to the dealership and spoke with a tech and they said it didn't have an LED box needed!??! and he wouldn't go into details

Now before I go on the lights do come on, seems I dont get the blinker white light and reverse white light. Also the yellow lights only work when I unlock the car and the lights come on but for the blinkers its red and fast as if a light is out fast. The rear lights themselves hook right up to the existing plug! nothing crazy like the wiring for the Spec-D headlights as it is suppose to be for a stock r56 model made 8-2010 and more apparently..

Is there an easy fix for this? "easy" meaning really is there any way I can get these lights to work? as currently they "think" they are missing a light but all the lights do work and are there just arent working properly.

I have talked to the eeuroparts guys and they have since updated their site for the more correct info about that part. I have looked around and havent found anything about this problem or anyone trying to get the black trim rear lights..... weird... Any help is much appreciated!! thanks guys
