Fog Lights Front and Rear and Tell-tale not working after AC Control Unit replacement
 

In January, under a BMW used / approved warranty I had the AC Control Unit (64113457397) replaced due to a faulty LCD display - on my 2012 Cooper S
Yesterday it failed the MOT due to front and rear fog lights not working (including the dash tell-tale lights not working)

I recall the fog lights working when I purchased it last year although only because it was easy to hit them by mistake when going for the window switch..
It's not been foggy once so I've never intentionally put them on to notice that they were not working - since having the climate control unit replaced.

For a moment BMW were looking for £1000 from me to replace it again..! but they have just this minute called to say it was not programmed and is now working.. no charge.
I was about to ask for your optinion on it all but they called midway through writing this.

So it's sorted and this is just a hello really and perhaps useful confirmation for anyone with a similar issue.
