my girlfriend just got an '07 cooper s, and the first thing i noticed is that the headlight auto adjusted but as soon as we started driving they seeme dto be aimed way too low, like you can only see 40 feet or so ahead, my car has hid's and the low beams go twice that far.. does anyone know why they would be auto-aiming so low??

 

They're notorius for being too low. They're very easy to adjust though, I did mine the day I got it. Do a Google search and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
