I'm unable to pair my Mini Cooper S (2008) and my ipod touch. I've seen people post pictures of it working, but I can't seem to pair them. I go to bluetooth phones on the car and choose search, and I'm searching on the ipod but I'm unable to see eachother. What am I doing wrong? I can't find any guides or other people with this problem.

HAve you tried your ipod on something else. YOu can always just plug it in to the aux

 

Do you have the patch cord from mini? I have a ipod touch and an 09 mini cooper s. I had the same problem as you when i was using my ipods supplied cord. I went back to the dealer and gat the appropriate cord and now can rock the tunes from the touch.
Also you car should automatically detect the ipod once you have the correct cord.
