Looking to buy 2011 Mini Base Model
 

Hello Folks,

I am a newbie here but excited to get into mini's. I always wanted to Own one but couldn't do it. Now I am fulfilling the dream by convincing my wife to get one for her. I have owned and maintained BMW's so I have an understanding of the extra maintenance cost that comes with these cars but is there anything specific that I should look with these cars?

I have narrowed my search to this one car for now but wanted to run it through you guys to get an opinion.

Its a 2011 Mini Base model with heated seats, pano sunroof, etc. Its got approx 43K miles.
The dealer wants $14K for it which to me is little lower than other cars that have come across in the search. The car has a clean title and one previous owner. I have not seen the car personally so can't talk on how it feels to drive etc but plan to check it out soon. From the pictures, it looks just as new. Also, the car is located in Dallas so any mini indie shops in the Dallas area that you guys can recommend would be great. I plan to check it with a mechanic before I decide to buy.

I paid 14,900 for mine with 46k.It was in mint shape .The sun roof is the largest one I ever owned.
