Default Non-Dealer Service

Hi.... I have a 2009 Cooper S that I LOVE. Here's my question: Does anyone have an opinion on BMW Dealer Service vs. Independent Local Service???? I really want to support my local businesses, but I don't want to sacrifice any treatment on my car.......and........ I don't trust dealerships...... Everyone there makes me want to shower in antibacterial handsanitizer, or I see them with an eye patch and a parrot on their shoulder!!!!
Thanks for the help guys....be kind.....female here and this is my first car forum....EVER!!!!

I have work done by both , my independant is FAR FAR cheaper then the mini dealer AND uses genuine mini parts. but he's exceptional compared to others in the area.

But you will have to see your local independant , some are good some are cutthroat and use bad parts.

Indy work has always been better for me - plus you can source the parts (savings) and pay for labor. Oh and welcome!
