Default P0597 code with Limp mode

Hello all,
So here is my issue. about two months ago I tackled an oil leak.. After doing the research it was either the turbo line feed or oil filter housing gasket. I decided to do both and save myself the trouble. job went... well kind of easy I had no garage so it was all done in the sun. after I put everything back together I started getting the P0597 code and my car went into limp mode. Thinking nothing of it I replaced the thermostat housing...Still same code and limp mode. Thinking maybe it was a bad thermostat I replaced it again.. well Same code and still in limp mode. Thought to myself no way could 2 be bad but said hell with it and ordered one from Mini themselves. The other two where online part stores. Guess what.. Still same PO597 code and still stuck in Limp mode. There is no way 3 could be bad right? so I started wire tracing to see if something maybe was broke or pinched. Nothing. I did see where the orange wire runs with a group and then it connects to a solid thicker orange wire and that seems to run to the upstream O2 sensor. Anyone have any ideas? Im at a loss and about to take it to a local shop since the closest Mini dealership is 4+ hours away. oh before I forget. I have a 2007 Mini cooper S
