Oil Filter Info Needed

Recently saw a Wix filter # 57303 as ok for the 07 mini cooper in a parts store book. But then on a wix filter website, the same filter is listed as good for up through 2006. Can someone out there clear this up? And suggest any other oil filters by brand and product code? Thanks.

thanks. I will research further. I can't find an engine code number so maybe I need to go to a mini dealer.

The engine codes for Cooper is N12 and for the Cooper S N14.

02-06 Filters are not able to be used in the 07-10 MINIs in any way.

The BMW Part Number for the filter you need is 11-42-7-557-012. Good luck!

Thanks. Got it figured out. Checker Auto shows 2 filters in their system for the '07 Cooper coupe. For 2 different engine codes. The second one I tried is the right one. I guess I have the N12B16A. So the Wix number is 57512. Don't be fooled by the wix website. If you put this wix number in you get the Clubman. I don't have a Clubman, but this is the right filter.
