Is red lining one time a bad thing?

Default Is red lining one time a bad thing?
Today I decided to show off the accerlation of the car and I accidentally red lined it in 2nd gear until what I believe to be the "governor" kicked in. I quickly shifted gears when it did that.

Does anyone think I may have caused any harm?
