Stuck sunroof
 

My Sunroof is broken on the drivers side. The sunroof will not close. If I push the driver's side while pushing the switch, it goes forward then stops and opens by about 6" and stops again. I think the cable snapped and I can't get into it because both of my sunshades are stuck closed! I can't retract the front sunshade to get to the screws to remove the glass! Very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas before I take it to my dealer and get hit with the very traumatic repair bill?

5 years old but only 25,000 miles.
