Turbo whistle and other sounds.
 

I am currently in the process of purchasing an 07 cooper S and was just wondering about a couple of noises and if they are normal.
The first noise that came to my attention was a chattering sound coming from the top of the engine and was louder when I took the oil cap off.
The car was started from cold and after a short drive the noise stopped.
The second noise I wasn't too sure about was the turbo whistle when changing gears. I hope this is normal because it sounds great !! Lol.
Also the panoramic sun roof motor is dead which the car dealer is in the process of fixing (hopefully) I under stand the sunroofs can be problematic.
I'm a total mini newbie so apologies for silly questions.
