Which type of ECU upgrade if any?
 

I have a 2008 Cooper S with every possible intake and exhaust upgrade I could think of to free up the breathing and I definitely noticed a difference. Keeping in mind that I want this to last for a while as a daily driver, I'm wondering which if any ECU upgrade i could go with. JMTC offers an ECU replacement which they say is programmed based on the mods you tell them you did. I dealt with them for getting a mildly upgraded turbo and they were very knowledgeable. Another place who I can't recall right now offers to send a programming kit which they say allows you to revert the ECU back to stock if you feel the need to do so. That's the nice thing I like compared to the JMTC deal. With JMTC, they send you a reprogrammed ECU(after you send yours in)that you are stuck with. But the other place that sends you the ECU tuning software doesn't ask exactly what you already did to the car, they just suggest which stage of ECU tuning you should get based on your cars mods. And after starting this thread, I saw there are multiple others out there. Any experiences here?
