2010 barn doors
 

I've had my 2010 Clubman for alittle over a week now and just getting to know it. I found some inconsistencies with the way the barn doors open. Sometimes both doors pop open when I press the remote. Other times only the right side opens. The left side opens when I grab the handle. So its not the problem other people are having where they can't even open the left side.
My question is what way is correct? Also is there a way to pop the doors open from inside the car? Like popping a trunk? I didn't see anything in the manual.

mine always just unlocks, never releases. i hit the r/door handle, it pops open, then hit the left,it pops open.

Remote open
 

With the remote you push the button to open the right door then hold the button and the left door opens By using the handle open the right door first in the left door
