2012 countryman
Engine light has been on/off and car runs good for past 8 weeks. Dealer has had the car twice, currently in shop trying to diagnose. Lean fuel mixture is what they say yet can't pin point the area to repair. All sensors checked, injectors cleaned ( they say twice) smoke tested 2x etc. Now they want to replace the injectors with no guarantee the light will go off, 88000 miles , 90% highway with regular maintenance. Anyone been there? Suggestions? Warranty is long gone. I just feel the dealer has been diagnosing to builds up some $$, so they can tell me its $2400 for injectors or $1000 for diagnostics which solved nothing to take the car with the light still on. If anyone has insight or who to call I would appreciate it.

New to the forum, came across your post...did you get it resolved? Sounds similar to an issue I had recently (2011 Countryman, ~72000 miles at the time) which was the injectors. Here's the twist though...first replacement injectors were a faulty design (aftermarket, manufacturer had already corrected but the poorly designed injectors were still in distribution). Issue was once the injectors were in place, locking tab would not stay secured so injector(s) would individually come loose and produce the engine light again. Quick diagnosis by the tech (this was a AAA location, not a dealership) was corrected next day with new injectors.
