We bought one of these rare beasts this August and I have a question or two.

Because of the restricted rear visibility--no windows (or seats) in back--I want to install one of those annoying beepers attached to the backup light circuit. It's easy enough to solder two wires to the bulb holder, but I don't want to overload the circuit, or do anything stupid that would set off the airbags (Yes, the rear airbags are apparently still there, protecting the cargo space). Will the 2011 Bentley manual for Mini tell me the circuit rating? Is this a really dumb idea?
