2013 Mini Cooper Clubman Temperature

Thanks for having such a helpful forum. I have a mini 2013 clubman with 68K miles. As it does not have temperature gauge , I have installed a temp gauge which connects through OBD connector. I believe that is water temperature.
It goes up to 217 Degree F and them comes back. Normally it stays above 200 F in summer. Is this normal for Mini?
It looked too high as compared to my other cars so I got radiator replaced and flushed radiator with correct antifreeze. But it still stays in the same area. I am worried about running it on such a high temperature.
