Default Replacing the Front Brake Wear Sensor?

Just got my 09 JCW Clubman back from replacing a warranty turbo that imploded & now the brake pad wear light is on. I replaced the front & rear brakes about a month ago & no problems until the dealer had it.

I've got trust issues with that dealer from past attempts to replace items that were OK, so it wouldn't surprise me that they may have unplugged the front sensor to try to get more revenue from me.

Question: Where is the sensor wire plug-in located? To change a damaged sensor, is it necessary to remove the caliper & remove the brake pad? I'm looking for a quick & easy job that won't eat up my already too short weekend ...

... nevermind ...

You can grab the sensory body with a pair of needlenose pliers & yank it out. Plug is located under the plastic fender well liner.
