Best bang for your buck
recently purchased my first mini ..... 2013 mini cooper s turbo
question is what is the best bang for your buck as far as upgrades go ? for speed and horse power. was considering a cold air intake but the jump i think was 8-10 hp.
any advise or recommendations would be def appreciated

I think this has been covered in a few threads. My advice is not bang for the buck first mod, but where do you want to be in a year or two. Is drivability a factor? top speed? MPG?
CAI is cheap, but other than a little noise and a little gain.
Bigger intercooler adds some.
Exhaust, maybe including the downpipe.
A tune? and how big/bad? Remember that new air filter and plugs are a good start. Premium gas?
Figure out what you want the car to be and go from there. Remember that you can pump 50 into a used mini, and you'll never get the money back.
My first upgrade will be a bigger intercooler.
