timing chain kit

Hello all,

I have a 2008 Mini Clubman S, bought used about 8 months ago and have put over 30K miles on her. now trying to do the 100K service + and I have a few questions.

Before I blow the motor, (like so many in the junkyard), I want to change the timing chain/ tensioners. I found several sites that sell the kits/tools... but they all say OE/ OEM.. well if I wanted the original junk, I would just buy one of those kits. Does anyone know of an upgrade kit that has better rails/ tensioner, chains, sprockets...so I don't have to do this job again (anytime soon)?

I also have the oil drinking problem, looking to replace all the oil filter housing seals, anything else around the turbo that I can get to. Any MFG or updated replacement parts you could point me to will be very much appreciated.

Thanks All
Steve
