03 mini stalling

I just bought an 03 base with 74K miles. i really like it a lot but also have problems stalling into first. i am looking at some after market coil setups & see in addition to the hotter msd coil there are also the plug wires that have their own built in capacitors. does anyone have experience with these?

Stalling can be dirty intake tract , I'd try running some seafoam thru the intake tract first

I'm running the MSD coil with magnacore wires, and iridium plugs

ah yes thanks, the seafoam might be a cheap fix. i used to run an msd blaster and magnacores on my 60's slant six with good results but have never tried on a newer engine

tried the seafoam in the gas tank with no result. it seems i need to increase power in the low rpm range.
