Default 2002 OBD plug appears to be dead....

Plugged in the scanner to check for codes today and the scanner does not show power in the OBD plug. The guy said check the fuse and come back. Is there a fuse for the OBD plug? What else could cause the plug to be dead?

It's piggybacked on another fuse, I don't have my manual handy...
Also check wires to the rear of the plug I've seen wires broken
Also try another shop,I've seen their scanner say no powerwhen it works fine at another shop
