2004 R50 1.6 Breakdown help
 

Wifes car broke down today was driving fine slowed for a roundabout cut out and now wont restart, we have fuel in the tank and can hear the pump wirring, there are no fault codes on the reader and when i pulled a plug we appeared to have a spark,

any suggestions what to check? a friend says there is a fuel filter under the rear seat i am thinking of changing that and possibly a new set of plugs as we have no idea how old these are but dont fancy throwing money away on unrequired items

advice would be appreciated
