2006 mini convertible
 

My convertible top was working perfectly. Put it down this morning and went fora drive. I got to my location and put the top up no problem. After about two hours I went to leave, pushed the button to open the convertible top and it open to the sliding position and then stopped. I pushed the button again to have it continue lowering the top and nothing happens. Can’t get it to go past the top sliding open. Anyone have a clue what could be the problem?
