A/C Re-charge
 

Just wondering if anyone has any pointers on how to recharge the A/C on my wife's 2004 Mini Cooper. The fan works, the compressor is engaged but only hot air is blowing from the vents. I'm assuming it needs a re-charge. If I'm wrong can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks!

I had mine re-charged for 90 bucks by a local mechanic. Worked.

Good idea. Sometimes that is all it needs but you need to verify if there is a leak and the mechanic can tell this when he hooks up to the A/C equipment at his shop. This is so that it won't simply leak out in the near future.
