CD Changer Problem
 

My factory 6 disk CD changer stopped working a little while ago. Worked fine one day, next day stereo showed "No Disks" even though the magazine is full. The in-dash CD player works fine. I've tried removing and re-inserting the magazine, unplugging the cables for an hour and plugging back in- nothing. I'm about to pull what little hair I have out. Anyone have any ideas?http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...s/confused.gif

sounds like it might be jammed , you might try taking the cover off and seeing if the mechanisms jammed , or a disc is stuck

CD Changer Problem
 

Took the cover off per your suggestion BV. Nothing stuck or jammed. I connected the cables with the cover off so I could see what's going on. The magazine cycled through each CD, inserting each CD from the magazine to the player and then showed No Disk on the in-dash display. Any other ideas?

sounds like the lasers shot then it can't read the disc...
do the discs spin when loaded?
