Considering Buying 2004 Cooper

Are there any specific problems I should beware of? 5sp manual, 50000 miles, $7000

Nope, Just check the MINI out the 5 speed is the midlands transmission is not a robust as the 5 speed getrag on the 2005+ models. But you have low miles

Post up some pics inside and out and I can help you on parts it might need.

Okay, thinks. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to pick it up Friday or Saturday. It looked and felt pretty clean when I drove it last Saturday.

Change of plans... 2010 anybody?

Okay, so in a rather bizarre turn of events, the car was accidentally sold out from under my feet. I was livid, and let the salesman know it. I guess he felt bad, so he offered me a deal on a non-clean titled (water damage), 2010 with 25,000 miles on it - $8000. I know that this could be a risk, but that's a lot of car for that amount of money. They are in the process of replacing the computer in the floor boards, and this dealer works almost exclusively with water damaged, high-end cars (Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, BMW, etc), so I'm thinking that they know what they are doing. I'm wondering if anybody has any specific opinions on that? Also, this is the first one I've ever seen with the roof rack. Is that a Mini item or a hack job? I don't know if I attached these pics correctly or not, but it was worth a shot.

Roof rack looks factory. But the sun look like it bleached the shoulders caps. Watch with water damage cars, down the road you could have issues if hings are not done right. I would have a MINI dealership examine it. Some places don't know MINIs even if they do other cars.

If you want to buy pre used mini cooper car, then i would suggest you to buy it from Magus cars. They also deals in other big brands like BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc. You can even buy used BMW cars from magus. Magus is a certified dealer, and can offer you maximum discounts and other benefits also.

Just give it a try!

2004 mini cooper 2d hatchback

hi, im 16 and in the market for my first car. I was looking at a 2004 mini with 120k miles should I get the car? if so what should I expect? Also he is selling it for $3500 is that a god price I need help :(

Hey jcruz787, the price is good but remember your buying a Mini not a Honda. Down the road you're going to have to spend some money to maintain it. More than what it would cost a Honda.
