Electronics playing up

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I have a 2003 mini cooper bought second hand last year. But over the past 3 days its gone crazy. Eg - my indicator light on the dashboard gets stuck on , i lock the car with central lock and it opens again (i had to leave it open all night last night) i switch the car off dashboard lights remained on, sometimes the lights of the car don't turn on immediately when i turn them on, the windows sometimes don't go up. Basically all the electronics are going hay wire, i took the car to a repair shop where he tested it with the computer and he said a lot of faults came up and for some reason he thinks its the ecu, but having said that we have tried 4 different ecu's with matching part number and it went even more berserk. Anyone came across this problem and maybe can shed some light as i cant even use the car :( .

Also he did a reboot of the ecu and it was working great and after a while it went crazy again.

Mini's are very sensitive to voltage and proper grounding. How old is the battery and have you checked the voltage? Are the battery post and cable clamps clean?

To be honest the battery we havent checked out yet. So we will check that out. The clamps and the rest of the engine is clean as we cleaned it yesterday.
