Hi, I've got a problem with my 2002 Mini Cooper gearbox. Is there any electronics involved in the process of replacing the gearbox? Is any reprogramming requiered? Thanx, Tom

It's a manual one.

 

nothing "electronic" but electrical connections for reverse switch ect

I have a 2003 Cooper with 5 spd manual.
"Out of the blue" it will not go into reverse or 5th gear.
Or, conversly, if in 5th or reverse it will not go into 1,2,3or4.

I"ve read a few posts about this jamming issue on this forum but saw no common resolution.

Ayyone have this issue resolved once and for all?
