Good deal or bad deal?? please help!

Hi Everyone!

I am in the midst of purchasing a 2003 Mini Cooper (base model). The car only has 79k miles on it, its in perfect condition, brakes still have 80% life, and brand new run flats, harmon kardon, ipod aux jack etc.

She originally was asking 8500, but I tried talking it down to 8000, she wants to meet at 8250 and doesnt seem to want to move from that price.

Is this a good buy?

Thanks!
Max

Max,
I am new to this forum and therefore not a great source of information.
I have just bought my wife an 03 Cooper with 62K on the clock from a dealer
For 4K! I don't know much about spec options etc but mine has everything
You mention. Not too sure if the price is right there. I could well be wrong and
I may have just got a really good deal but......

Good Luck,

Dom.

Sorry about that,
It's automatic, has sunroof, leather interior, as for the wheels, I'm pretty sure they arent the stock ones, they are 4 spoked. No sport package.
