Default Mini 2002 R50 RHD

I bottomed out on a large kerb that I didn't see till too late.
Parked up thought nothing of it.

Next day overheating coolant, Reservoir empty

Visible coolant leak form radiator was sealed with K-Seal - Reservoir level stays put

Now at idle it stays at operating temp however if increase revs steadily coolant temp will shoot up and warning light will flash. Coolant in the tank is bubbling viciously
If I back off and idle it will return to safe zone.

I have bled the system for airlocks, I don't have hot air from any of the vents. I was thinking water pump but that would make a squeal wouldn't it?

Any ideas?

PHOTOS ATTACHED
I looked under and saw a plug that looks like a sensor. I went to MINI and the tech couldn't advise where it needed to be.
It comes from the box in the last photo and hangs out of the bottom just behind the radiator.

Any help would be appreciated especially as winters soon coming,
