Mini cooper 2004 1.6 driver side seat height adjustment
 

Hi all

I have this week ventured into the world of mini and got a cooper 1.6 petrol.

The only issue with it (touch wood) is that the drivers seat height adjustment does not work - and having had a quick look it appears the strut is missing (https://new.minimania.com/part/NMI76...m-Gen1-R50-r53)

I asked a few scrapyard sellers on ebay and got pointed to this strut (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173578370599)

Has anyone else ever had to buy one of these and if so will the ebay linked one work?
