Default Mini will not turn over

I need help! I just bought a 2005 " s " . I picked it up and drove it for three days. I shut it off and then went to start it. Nothing happened. The starter does not engage, no clicks, nothing. The car can be pushed started. I find it hard to believe the starter just went. Does anybody know how to reset the immobilizer or having any suggestions? Thanks

Have you checked all of your fuses? The main fuse box is under the hood. Do the lights seem dim when the engine is not running? If they do I would have the battery tested. A weak battery will make Mini's act wierd.

Thanks Gruss, I did check the battery. The battery is fine and the lights do not dim when I turn the key. I have no power to the starter so I believe it may be the ignition switch or EWS module.
