Hello. I have a 2006 R50 CVT Mini Cooper that gave me two fault codes recently...P2800 and P2803. At about the same time the CVT started to feel like it was "slipping" at about 5mph-30mph if I am heavy on the gas. If I go slow, I don;t seem to notice it as much or at all.

I looked up the codes in the internet and all I can find is that both are related to the Auto Transmission Position Switch Range Sensor. Does that sound right??

Oh, and it clunks into gear when I first take off form a stop. Also does it into revers. But it has been doing that for a while.
